First Visit
Welcome! We are honored you are considering a visit with us. Should you decide to visit us, the following is what you can expect at your first visit:
Your initial appointment will be to take records, which will include a full set of X-rays, a digital scan of your teeth, photos, and a short video. These records will help Dr. Acosta thoroughly evaluate the condition of your teeth, gums, and smile. Dr. Acosta will then meet with you, where he will first want to know any potential wants, needs, and/or concerns you may have about your teeth, gums, and smile. Dr. Acosta will then complete a clinical exam of your mouth and he will discuss the results of that exam with you. Dr. Acosta is very thorough, and he will be sure to address all your wants, needs, and concerns that were discussed at the beginning of the visit. The cost for this initial appointment is $248*, after which Dr. Acosta, together with you, can come come up with a plan you are comfortable moving forward with.
The important point to make here is that Dr. Acosta believes in being very upfront with all his patients. He will bring to your attention anything about your oral health he feels is important for you to know. He believes everyone deserves to have a beautiful and healthy smile, and everyone deserves to know what may or may not be keeping someone from achieving that. Ultimately, however, every patient has the final decision in what, if any, treatment will be done. Dr. Acosta respects that, and he is here to help you make the best decisions for your smile.
After this first visit, if you are satisfied with everything, we can begin scheduling other appointments. This is usually a professional cleaning with one of our hygienists, but it depends on what you and Dr. Acosta agree to.
*If there is any dental insurance involved, this fee may be lower, or a portion of it could be paid by the insurance company. We will do our best to research this for you, but unfortunately insurance companies do not always provide us with accurate information. Please be sure to read our information page on PAYMENT OPTIONS AND INSURANCE.
